Job Responsibilities:
• Project Planning: Work closely with clients to determine their goals, requirements, and budget for sports facility
projects. Conduct site evaluations and analyse existing structures and infrastructure to identify opportunities and
constraints.
• Design Development: Develop conceptual designs and translate them into detailed architectural plans, considering
factors such as space utilization, functionality, safety, accessibility, aesthetics, and sustainability. Incorporate
appropriate design elements for specific sports activities.
• Building Codes and Regulations: Stay updated on relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
related to sports facilities. Ensure that designs comply with safety codes, accessibility requirements, and
environmental regulations.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates and budgets for sports facility projects. Monitor expenses throughout the
design and construction process, making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget.
• Project Management: Oversee the construction or renovation process, ensuring that the project progresses
according to schedule, quality standards, and budget. Address any design-related issues or changes that arise during
construction.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address their
concerns, and obtain feedback. Collaborate with clients to achieve their vision while balancing practical and
technical considerations.
• Research and Innovation: Stay informed about new trends, technologies, and best practices in sports facility
design. Incorporate innovative and sustainable design solutions into projects whenever possible.
• Documentation: Prepare and review design documentation, including architectural drawings, specifications, and
reports. Generate presentation materials to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor / Master’s degree in architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience in sports facility design, stadium designs, structural drawings, preferably with a portfolio of
completed projects & master planning.
• Designing, developing, documenting & coordinating with Sports & recreational facilities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop, Coral-Draw, BIM, and other relevant architectural tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
